Reckless Driving

paul kimbleAt approximately 1030 hours on January 3, 2016 Trooper First Class Charles George of the New Hampshire State Police Special Enforcement Unit was monitoring traffic from the State Police Aircraft on I-93 Northbound in the Town of New Hampton. TFC. George observed a vehicle traveling at an extremely high rate of speed and clocked it at 105 MPH in a posted 70 MPH speed zone. The vehicle was easily passing several vehicles at a high rate of speed while in the left lane. TFC. George radioed to Trooper Amanda Johnson who was able to stop the vehicle. The operator and vehicle were identified as: Paul Kimble, Age: 21, Laconia, NH, 2011 Lincoln MKX.

Kimble was arrested for Reckless Driving and is due to appear in the Laconia District Court to answer the charge on February 25, 2016.

The NH State Police Special Enforcement Unit regularly interdicts elevated speed violations and other aggressive driving behaviors. Its members patrol across the state often utilizing the State Police aircraft during commuter traffic periods and holiday travel times with the goal of keeping New Hampshire's roadways safe for all residents and visitors.
