Fire Destroys Garage at Londonderry Salvage Yard

LONDONDERRY – New Hampshire State Fire Marshal J. William Degnan, Londonderry Fire Chief Darren O'Brien, and Londonderry Police Chief William R. Hart announce that the Londonderry Fire and Police Departments were called to 55 Hall Road, on January 29, 2015 at approximately 12:01 a.m. for a report of a building fire.

Upon arrival, responding units observed heavy fire coming from an automotive garage located on the property. The Londonderry Fire Department was able to bring the fire under control after several hours. No civilian or emergency personnel injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation at this time. The building, as well as the vehicles and equipment that were stored inside it sustained extensive damage as a result of the fire.

The fire is under investigation by members of the NH State Fire Marshal's Office, Londonderry Fire Department and the Londonderry Police Department.
