Location: Laconia

Agency: Department of Transportation

Description: Request from the Department of Transportation to lease for five years, with fiveyear renewal, approximately 600 square feet of state-owned land along the Concord-Lincoln Railroad to an abutter for use and maintenance of a beach and waterfront access on Paugus Bay per RSA 228:57. The lease is intended to correct an existing encroachment problem.

Location: Laconia

Agency: Department of Transportation

Description: Request from the Department of Transportation to lease for 25 years approximately 330 square feet of state-owned land along the Concord-Laconia Railroad to the City of Laconia for use and maintenance of a retaining wall and electric transformer pad adjacent to Lakeside Avenue in Weirs Beach per RSA 228:57. The lease is intended to support the city's subsurface electrical system project.

Location: Epping

Agency: Department of Resources and Development

Description: Sell approximately .25-mile section of the Fremont Branch Recreation Trail to John Grammas, an abutting developer, for $120,000, while retaining a permanent 30-foot wide easement for recreational use across the property or on an adjacent property owned by the developer; proceeds will be used by DRED to install a larger box culvert on the adjacent rail trail in Raymond to address public safety issues; developer is responsible for building the replacement trail to allow for continued recreational access and connectivity of the two recreational trails in the area.

Location: Keene

Agency: The Adjutant General's Department

Description: Request to convey to the City of Keene the former State Armory Property at 110 Hastings Avenue, including buildings and 6.5 acres, which is currently being used by the city for West Keene Fire Station.

Location: Sugar Hill

Agency: Department of Fish & Game

Description: Request to lease to the Town of Sugar Hill for a period of 10 years a 25-acre parcel of state-owned land on Route 18, including a public water body known as Coffin Pond, so that the town can maintain the access area.

Status: Recommended


Location: Stewartstown

Agency: Department of Natural and Cultural Resources

Description: Request to convey a water utility easement on an approximately .25 acre section of the Upper Coos Recreation Trail, also known as the North Stratford-Beecher Falls Branch Railroad, to Coos County for the purpose of installation of a subsurface water line between the Coos County Facility to the public water lines in the Town of Stewartstown; the proposed utility easement is approximately 10 feet wide and 1,700 feet long.

Location: Hampton

Agency: Department of Administrative Services

Description: Request to convey to Aquarion Water Company of New Hampshire, Inc. a perpetual water line easement for the construction, installation, operation, maintenance, repair, and replacement of a water supply main and any related fixtures or equipment as may be necessary to provide water service to the Hampton Circuit Court facility to be constructed along the eastern side of Timber Swamp Road in Hampton.
