Planning Technician

The North Country Council Regional Planning Commission (NCC) is looking to fill the position of Planning Technician.  This position is full-time with benefits. Preferred qualities include; Basic understanding of general planning principles and practices, research and analytical skills, ability to balance multiple projects, familiarity with MS Office Suite and other common computer applications, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines in a collaborative work environment, experience and/or internship in professional planning environment is a plus, and candidates with demonstrated experience using GIS software are preferred.

North Country Council seeks a senior planner to join its growing team. The senior planner will work on various land use transportation, environmental projects on the regional and local level.
