Kids, Books and the Arts is an annual project done in conjunction with the New Hampshire Summer Reading Program. Each fall, a group of children's librarians selects 8-12 presenters to be included on the Kids, Books and the Arts Roster. In the spring, these Roster presenters perform at a showcase attended by NH librarians. The librarians can then apply for grants to bring the KBA Roster presenters to their communities during the Summer Reading Program.
If you perform or present programs for children and you would like to apply for the 2017 Kids, Books and the Arts Roster, please complete all three parts of the Roster application. The application deadline is
Friday, October 28, 2016 at 4:00 pm. Please note: The theme of the 2017 Summer Reading Program is a construction theme and the slogan for all age levels is "Build a Better World." We welcome applications from all kinds of children's presenters, but we especially are looking for those who have a thematic program to offer.
