Minimum Security Inmate Missing from Halfway House
(Manchester, N.H.) The New Hampshire Department of Corrections announces that a work release inmate from the Calumet Transitional Housing Unit in Manchester was placed on walkaway status. Marvin Leon Cashaw, 41, left the Calumet House August 17, 2017 at 5:20 a.m. to report to work. At 9:00 a.m. his employer notified the Department of Corrections that he failed to arrive at his job site.
Cashaw is described as a black male, 70 inches tall, 220 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He has gold upper front teeth.
Cashaw is serving multiple concurrent sentences. He was sentenced in Strafford Superior Court on February 25, 2016 to a 1-5 year sentence for Controlled Drug Act involving Heroin, and two 2-5 year sentences also for Controlled Drug Act. He was admitted to the New Hampshire State Prison on February 25, 2016. He will be eligible for release on parole on November 21, 2017 with a maximum release date of November 20, 2020.
