Work Release Resident Missing from Manchester Transitional Housing Unit

(Manchester, NH) The New Hampshire Department of Corrections announces that a resident of the Calumet Transitional Housing Unit walked away from the facility. Ricky Edward Holloway, 26, with no permanent address, left for work at 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 3, 2017 and failed to report to work. He was placed on walk away status at approximately 12:30 am this morning.

Holloway is described as a black male, 6 feet 2 inches tall, 230 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo on his face.

Holloway was convicted in Hillsborough County Superior Court South to two concurrent 1 to 2 year sentences for drug related offenses involing heroin. He received 198 days of time served credited to his sentence. He began serving his sentence on February 9, 2017 and had been eligible for parole on July 25, 2017. His maximum release date is July 25, 2018.

The New Hampshire Department of Corrections and the New Hampshire State Police are investigating. Anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact the New Hampshire State Police or a local law enforcement agency.

Walking away from a correctional facility can result in a charge of Escape that is a Class B felony punishable by 3 1/2 - 7 years in prison.
