New Hampshire Correctional Industries Repairs and Replaces Chairs at the New Hampshire State House
(Concord, NH) The Hampshire Correctional Industries Furniture Shop at the Northern New Hampshire Correctional Facility in Berlin completed repair and replacement work on more than 200 chairs in the New Hampshire House of Representatives. The folding chairs are located in the upper gallery where members of the public and school groups can watch their elected officials discuss and vote on legislation.
New cushions were installed and chair frames and mechanisms were replaced during the summer of 2016. New Hampshire Speaker of the House Shawn N. Jasper sent a letter to Correctional Industries Administrator Ron Cormier thanking his staff and the workers for a job well done.
A copy of the Speaker's letter can be read here.
Below is a photograph of some of the chairs that were repaired.
