Minimum Security Inmate Missing from Manchester Transitional Housing Unit

(Manchester, NH) The New Hampshire Department of Corrections announces that a minimum security inmate is missing from the Calumet Transitional Housing Unit in Manchester. Khyree Rasheed Thompson, 25, of Boston, Massachusetts, signed out of the facility to go to work at 6:40 am on Saturday January 30, 2016. He did not return at his scheduled time of 1:00 pm. He was placed on escape status shortly before 3:00 pm.

Inmate Thompson is described as a black male, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 260 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was sentenced in Hillsborough County Superior Court North for two concurrent 3 to 6 year prison sentences for Sale, Possession, and Manufacturing of Cocaine. He received 113 days of time served credited to his sentence. He was admitted to the New Hampshire State Prison on July 3, 2013 and was eligible for parole on March 10, 2016 with a maximum release date of March 10, 2019.

The New Hampshire Department of Corrections Investigations Bureau and the New Hampshire State Police are investigating. Anyone with information about his whereabouts should contact their local law enforcement agency or the New Hampshire State Prison at 603-271-1801.

A walkaway from a Community Corrections transitional housing unit is can result in an escape charge, which is a Class B felony punishable by 3 ½ - 7 years in prison.
