Minimum Security Inmate Walks Away from Concord Transitional Housing Facility

(Concord NH) The New Hampshire Department of Corrections announces that a minimum security inmate walked away from the North End Transitional Housing Unit on Thursday October 8, 2015. Robert Michael Mozeika, 50, of Chichester, New Hampshire left the halfway house for work at 11:50 am. He left his work site without permission and did not return. He was placed on escape status at approximately 3:15 pm.

Inmate Mozeika is described as a white male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 200 pounds, with black hair and hazel eyes. He has a tattoo on his left hand.

He was sentenced in Merrimack County Superior Court to 4 years minimum to 10 years maximum for Theft By Unauthorized Taking with 294 days of time served credited to his sentence. He began serving this sentence on April 15, 2013 and was eligible for parole on June 23, 2016. His maximum release date is June 22, 2022.

The New Hampshire Department of Corrections Investigations Unit and the New Hampshire State Police are investigating. Anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact their local law enforcement agency or the New Hampshire State Prison at 603-271-1801.
