Inmate Walks Away from Transitional Housing Unit in Concord

(Concord, NH) The New Hampshire Department of Corrections announces that a minimum security inmate is missing from the Corrections Transitional Work Center in Concord and has been placed on escape status. Adam Bergeron, III, 21, of Middleton, Massachusetts, was missing from the unit during the 11:30 pm count on Friday, October 2, 2015. Corrections Officers conducted a search of the 155 bed unit and were unable to find him. He was last seen in the unit during a 9:30 pm count earlier in the evening.

Inmate Bergeron is described as a white male, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 170 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He was sentenced in Hillsborough County Superior Court in Nashua to 1 to 3 years in prison for burglary with 217 days of time served credited to his sentence. He was admitted to the New Hampshire State Prison for Men on April 8, 2015 and had been eligible for parole on September 3, 2015 with a maximum release date of September 2, 2017. He had not yet been approved for parole.

The New Hampshire Department of Corrections Investigations Unit and the New Hampshire State Police are investigating. Anyone with information on this inmate’s whereabouts is urged to call their local law enforcement agency or the New Hampshire State Prison at 603-271-1801.
