Minimum Security Inmate Missing from Concord Transitional Housing Unit

On July 3, 2015, minimum security inmate Stephen Paul Roy, 27, last known address of Dover, was reported missing from the Corrections Transitional Work Center in Concord. Corrections Officers conducted their regular inmate count at about 5:50 pm and he was not in his room. He was last seen about 5:00 pm that afternoon. The unit was locked down and a thorough search was conducted and he was placed on escape status at about 6:20 pm that night.

He is described as a white male, 5’ 6”, 150 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He has tattoos on his chest, neck, left and right arms.

He was sentenced in Strafford County Superior Court for robbery and received a 3 to 10 year prison sentence with 294 days of time served credited to his sentence. He was admitted to the NH State Prison on November 5, 2013 and is eligible for parole on January 14, 2016. His maximum release date is January 16, 2023.

NH State Police and the New Department of Corrections Investigations Bureau is investigating. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to call their local law enforcement agency or the New Hampshire State Prison at 603-271-1801.
