Inmate Walks Away from Female Transitional Housing Unit in Concord

(Concord, NH) The New Hampshire Department of Corrections announces that a resident from the Shea Farm Transitional Housing Unit in Concord walked away from the facility on Wednesday, June 24, 2015. Tara Lee Monsante, 40, of Canaan, New Hampshire, signed out to go to work at 8:09 am and failed to return at her scheduled time of 7:00 pm. She was placed on walkaway status at approximately 7:30 pm

Monsante is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, 160 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

She is serving a 1 ½ to 4 year sentence from Grafton County Superior Court for Fraudulent Use of Credit Cards. She began serving this sentence on January 8, 2015 and is eligible for parole on May 3, 2016. Her maximum release date is November 4, 2018.

The New Hampshire Department of Corrections Investigations Bureau and the New Hampshire State Police are investigating. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact their local law enforcement agency or the New Hampshire State Prison at 603-271-1801.
