Minimum Security Inmate Missing from Concord Transitional Housing Unit
(Concord, NH) The New Hampshire Department of Corrections announces that a minimum security inmate is missing from the North End Transitional Housing Unit in Concord. At 7:30 am on Friday, May 22, 2015, Cameron Austin Neil, 37, of Concord, New Hampshire left the facility to go to work and he failed to return at his scheduled time of 7:30 pm. He was placed on escape status at approximately 9:30 pm.
Inmate Neil is described as a white male with brown hair and green eyes, 5 feet 3 inches tall and 145 pounds. He has multiple tattoos on his legs, arms, calf, abdomen, face, back, and chest.
He was sentenced in Merrimack County Superior Court to 5 to 15 years for two counts of Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault. He was admitted to the New Hampshire State Prison on November 15, 2005 and was eligible for parole on January 29, 2010. To date he had not been approved for parole. His maximum release date is January 27, 2020. He has been at the North End Transitional Housing Unit since March 31, 2015.
