Minimum Security Inmate Missing From Concord Transitional Housing Unit
(Concord, NH) The New Hampshire Department of Corrections announces that a minimum security inmate is missing from the Correctional Transitional Work Center in Concord, Jason William Chapman, 40, of Farmington, New Hampshire was not present for the 10:45 pm head count on Sunday, December 21, 2014 and he was placed on walkaway status.
Chapman is described as a white male, 5 foot 3 inches tall, 150 pounds, bald and with blue eyes. He has more a dozen tattoos on his nexk, chest, arms, neck, ankles, and back.
Chapman is serving a 1 1/2 to 5 year sentence for Theft in Strafford County Superior Court. He had 64 days of time served credited to his sentence. He was admitted to the New Hampshire State Prison on October 30, 2014 and will be eligible for parole on February 22, 2016. His maximum release date is August 25, 2019.
The New Hampshire Department of Corrections Investigations Bureau and the New Hampshire State Police are investigating. Anyone with information about this inmate's whereabouts should contact their local law enforcement department or the New Hamnpshire State Prison at 603-271-1801.
