New Hampshire Forest Legacy Committee
The Forest Legacy Program was established in 1990 through an amendment to the Cooperative Forestry Assistance Act. The purpose of the Forest Legacy Committee in implementing the program in New Hampshire is to:
- Advise the agency to help achieve state FLP objectives
- Provide input and advice for development and updates to the FLP related section of the State Forest Action Plan
- Review and recommend project proposals at the state level; and
- Review significant changes to projects that occur before the project closes, and provide recommendations on whether the project should proceed.
