Free Wireless Internet Access Now Available at New Hampshire State Library

(Concord, NH) The New Hampshire State Library now offers free wireless (WiFi) Internet access at their central location at 20 Park Street in Concord. Customers can access the Internet with their wireless-ready laptop computer or PDA in the public areas of the library.

There are several advantages of wireless service at the State Library including no waits for public computers or adhering to time limits. Also, WiFi users are able to download and save files on their own computers with ease.

State Librarian Michael York states “Providing wireless is a great service for researchers, legislators, business people, or anyone who wants to use their own laptop in the library. They will be able to check email and access the Internet without delay or inconvenience.”

The wireless Internet connection is available to anyone at the State Library with a wireless-ready computer. There are no special access codes or fees required for access.

The State Library is open from 8am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
