Emily Killinger, Grants Coordinator - Arts in Health

emily killingerEmily Killinger joined the NH State Council on the Arts in July 2015, as the Visual Arts Associate. At that time Emily brought with her 10 years graphic design experience from the newspaper industry, along with her lifelong love of the Arts. Since then she has thrived at assisting the Arts Council’s grants team, learning and growing within the vibrant NH arts community.

Emily has been involved in the Arts all of her life, thanks to her artist mother, who made sure to always have art available in their home. Emily is a graduate of Susquehanna University, where she majored in Studio Art. Her current interests are hiking, kayaking, exercise, knitting, crafting, taking photographs with her phone, and getting outside to run every day, no matter what the NH weather presents. She often includes her dog Bleu on the more manageable distances.

In late fall 2024 Emily was promoted to the Council’s Arts in Health program coordinator. Extremely in tune and aligned to Emily’s passions and strong belief that all our lives can be enhanced through the arts, she hopes to keep expanding and growing this program area, bringing better health and wellness to the Granite State via the powerful tool she knows the arts to be.
