The process of developing the Nationwide Public Safety Broadband Network (NPSBN) is organized into three phases: design, deployment and operation.
To build the nationwide network, all states must have a local radio access network (RAN) that connects to the NPSBN core. Currently FirstNet is in the deployment phase and has until 2022 to build the nationwide network. New Hampshire continues to work with FirstNet by participating in planning and outreach activities
