Some content on the NH.gov website is provided in Text File Format (.txt) files. TXT is a generic document file format that when opened by a program, human-readable content is presented to the user.
Most text-editors and word processors are able to read and write some versions of TXT.
Below are some free RFT reader/import programs for different operating systems. This list is not exhaustive and is provided for information and convenience only. The State of New Hampshire does not endorse or support these products.
- Microsoft WordPad is available for Microsoft Windows.
- TextEdit is available for Apple Mac OS X operating system.
- TED available for Linux operating system.
- Vim Editor is available for Linux, UNIX, and Windows
Also most Word Processing programs (online and PC-based) support viewing, reading, importing, and writing TXT files.
