Plaistow-Kingston Public Informational Meeting Meeting to be held via Zoom


Arrangements have been made by the New Hampshire Department of Transportation to hold a Public Informational Meeting to discuss the Plaistow-Kingston 10044E project, which involves reconstruction of NH 125 starting approx. 0.25 miles south of the Plaistow/Kingston town line in Plaistow, and proceeding northerly approx. 1.8-miles to just south of Hunt Road/Newton Junction intersection in Kingston. At this time, the project will not impact any identified cultural resources or historic properties within or immediately adjacent to the project area.

Due to the ongoing situation with COVID-19, the NHDOT will broadcast the meeting electronically via Zoom. Presentation materials, the meeting link, and additional instructions will be located on the NHDOT website: https://www.nh.gov/dot/projects/plaistow10044e/index.htm.

The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, October 29, 2020 at 6:00 pm.

The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project and to solicit public input to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs and community goals, and protect and enhance the environment. Accordingly, NHDOT assures that this project will be administered according to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statutes to ensure nondiscrimination.
