NHDOT Announces Nighttime Work on I-93 and NH Route 102 in Londonderry
Lane Closures Necessary to Complete Paving Operations

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation(NHDOT) announces that paving on the I-93 Southbound off and on-ramps as well as on NH Route 102 between I-93 and Hampton Drive is scheduled to begin the evening of Friday, October 9th. This work will require closing the ramps during the paving operation as well as trucks entering and exiting the traveled way.

This paving work is scheduled to be completed between the hours of 6:30 pm and 4:30 am and will require the use of single lane and full closures. Motorists traveling the Southbound I-93 Exit 4 off-ramp, NH Route 102 Eastbound, I-93 Southbound on-ramp, NH Route 102 Westbound on-ramp and NH Route 102 between the I-93 bridge and Hampton Drive will encounter lane closures, possible intermittent delays and detours as the work occurs. Message boards, uniformed officers, traffic control devices, and smart work zone devices will be used to notify the traveling public. This work is weather dependent and may require rescheduling.

This project is part of the final I-93 Northbound and Southbound mainline construction in the Exit 4 area (Derry/Londonderry), as well as the Exit 4 Northbound and Southbound on and off ramp construction, the NH Route 102 reconstruction (including the reconstruction of the NH Route 102 Bridge over I-93), and Pillsbury Road/Ash Street (including the Pillsbury Road/Ash Street Bridge over I-93).

RS Audley, Inc. of Bow, New Hampshire is the general contractor for the $62.2 million project, which is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2020.
