Boston Express To Suspend Bus Service
Temporary Suspension Will Go Into Effect Saturday, March 28, 2020

The State of New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT), in partnership with our operator Boston Express, announce their decision to suspend all Boston Express bus services effective Saturday, March 28, 2020. This suspension will be in effect until further notice due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Under contract to NHDOT, Boston Express Bus operates daily commuter bus service along the I-93 corridor, between Manchester-North Londonderry (Exit 5)-Londonderry (Exit 4)-Salem (Exit 2)-Boston, and along the FE Everett Turnpike between Manchester-Nashua-Tyngsborough-Boston. State-owned bus terminals used to support the Boston Express Bus service are located in Salem (Exit 2), Londonderry (Exits 4 & 5), and Nashua (Exit 8).

The suspension of Boston Express bus service will also result in the temporary closure of the state-owned bus terminals in Salem, Londonderry, and Nashua however parking lots at these facilities will remain open and available for the traveling public.

“This decision was very difficult to make but the health and safety of the traveling public and the employees of Boston Express Bus must take priority at this unprecedented time” stated New Hampshire Department of Transportation Commissioner Victoria Sheehan.

Boston Express will operate its current schedule through Friday, March 27th. For passengers affected by the suspension of service, additional information can be found at the Boston Express Bus website located at or by calling the Boston Express Customer Service line at 1-800-639-8080.

Please check the Boston Express Bus website for updates.
