Ending of Toll Collection at Exit 11 in Merrimack
Motorists will be shifted to use Lane 1 at both northbound and southbound plazas.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces that F.E. Everett Turnpike Exit 11 northbound and southbound ramp toll collection will end at 12:01 am, January 1, 2020.

At a public hearing on November 6, 2019, the Governor's Advisory Commission on Intermodal Transportation (GACIT) adopted a resolution directing the Department to draft an item for Governor and Executive Council action. On November 25, 2019 the Governor & Council voted to decrease the toll collection rate at Exit 11 ramps to $0.00 for all vehicles.

In advance of this change the Department will be working to remove and update signs and install traffic delineators guiding motorists to the right to use Lane 1. Beginning January 1, 2020 motorists will not be charged as they pass thru the Exit 11 ramp tolls, are advised to not stop and proceed slowly through the toll plaza area. There are no plans to remove the plazas at this time.
