Plaistow-Kingston Public Informational Meeting

NHDOT to Present Proposed Action Plan for Improvements to NH Route 125

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will hold a Public Informational Meeting in Kingston on Thursday, October 17, 2019 to discuss proposed improvements to NH Route 125 in Plaistow and Kingston. The public is invited and encouraged to attend and provide input on potential improvements.

The meeting will be held at the Kingston Town Hall, 163 Main Street, in Kingston, NH. Doors will be open at 6:30 PM and short presentation will begin at 7:00 PM. The presentation will be followed by an open discussion of ideas and dialogue between the public and the NHDOT project team. The purpose of this meeting is to present the "Proposed Action" plan. All interested property owners, public officials, employers and roadway users are welcome and will be given the opportunity to provide input on the project.

This project involves reconstructing a section of NH Route 125 from approximately ¼ mile south of the Plaistow/Kingston town line, northerly approximately 1.8 miles.

Historic properties may be impacted by the project. Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act offers those that possess a direct interest in historical resources, including town officials, Historical Societies, and Historical Commissions, an opportunity to become more involved in an advisory role during project development as "Consulting Parties." Those interested should contact the NHDOT.
