Public Hearings in Salem and Rochester
Hearings Will Discuss and Receive Public Input on the Draft 10 Year Transportation Improvement Plan

The Governor's Advisory Commission on Intermodal Transportation (GACIT) will hold a total of 20 Public Hearings across New Hampshire to review and receive input on the update of the State's Ten Year Transportation Improvement Plan (2021-2030).

Two meetings are planned for the week ending October 4, 2019:

  • Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at 6 pm, Salem High School, TV Studio, 44 Geremonty Drive , Salem, NH
  • Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at 6 pm, Frisbie Memorial Hospital, Community Education and Conference Center, Strafford Room, 11 Whitehall Road, Rochester, NH

The purpose of these Public Hearings is to receive public comments/testimony on transportation projects and priorities included in the draft 2021-2030 Plan as recommended by the New Hampshire Department of Transportation to GACIT. The draft 2021-2030 Plan can be viewed and downloaded from the Department's Ten Year Plan webpage: https://www.nh.gov/dot/org/projectdevelopment/planning/typ/index.htm, which is also accessible from the DOT Internet Homepage, https://www.nh.gov/dot.

The meeting dates and locations are listed below and are also located here on the NH DOT website: https://www.nh.gov/dot/org/projectdevelopment/planning/typ/documents/8.21.2019GACITPublicHearingSchedule.pdf.

Those not able to attend the meetings can submit written testimony until November 12, 2019. The public is also encouraged to review an online presentation and complete an online survey which is located on the NH DOT Website: https://www.nh.gov/dot/org/projectdevelopment/planning/typ/index.htm.
