Temporary Lane Closures on Northbound Off-Ramp

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces repair work is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 on the Interstate 293 Exit 5 northbound off-ramp in Manchester.

This bridge joint work is scheduled to be done between the hours of 9:00 am and 2:00 pm and will require temporary lane closures. The work is expected to take one day to complete, however additional work days may be required due to weather conditions. Message boards and smart work zone devices will be used to notify the travelling public.

This project consists of pavement rehabilitation along the Everett Turnpike/I-293 from mile marker 5.8 to mile marker 11.4, and includes the Exit 5 ramps in Manchester, and the Exit 10 and 11 ramps in Merrimack.

Continental Paving, Inc., of Londonderry, New Hampshire is the contractor for the $4.6 million project, which is expected to be completed in the spring of 2019.
