Night Work on I-93 between Exit 3 and Exit 4 in Windham and Derry
I-93 Southbound Lane Closure and Traffic Relocation to New Highway

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces night work associated with the construction of Interstate 93 southbound from mile marker 7.6 to 11. This area is from the Exit 3 off-ramp to the Kendall Pond Road overpass.

Weather permitting; construction operations will take place starting on the night of Thursday, November 8 and continue into Friday morning, November 9, 2018. This work will consist of paving the existing southbound roadway and the restriping of the Interstate. Upon completion of the night's work, southbound traffic on I-93 will be relocated to the newly constructed portion of the Interstate.

Construction operations will require traffic on Interstate 93 to be reduced to one lane utilizing a lane closure. This work will take place during non-commuter hours, from approximately 7:00 pm to 5:00 am. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs.

This work is part of the $49 million I-93 widening and reconstruction project located between Exits 3 and 4. The general contractor is R.S. Audley, Inc. from Bow, NH.
