Lebanon Public Informational Meeting
Rehabilitation and Preservation of I-89 Bridges

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will hold a Public Informational Meeting in Lebanon as part of a regularly scheduled City Council Meeting to discuss the rehabilitation of the bridges that carry I-89 over US Route 4 and NH Route 10, and preservation efforts for the bridges that carry I-89 over Mascoma River.

The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, November 7, 2018 starting at 7:00 pm. It will be held in the Council Chambers at Lebanon City Hall, 51 North Park Street, in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Doors will be open at 6:15 pm for informal viewing of the project information.

The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project and to solicit public input in order to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs, community goals, and protect and enhance the environment. Accordingly, NHDOT assures that this project will be administered according to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statutes to ensure nondiscrimination.

In addition, this project may have an effect on cultural or historic resources that are potentially eligible for or listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Individuals or organizations with a demonstrated interest in the potential impacts to historic resources have an opportunity to become Consulting Parties under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act. Additional information will be provided at the public informational meeting.
