Night Work On The Spaulding Turnpike In Dover
Lane Closures Between Little Bay Bridge And Exit 6

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces the start of night work on the Spaulding Turnpike (NH 16) in Dover as part of the reconstruction of the Spaulding Turnpike between the Little Bay Bridge and the Dover Toll Plaza.

On the evening of Sunday, August 12, 2018 nighttime construction operations will begin on the Spaulding Turnpike northbound between the Little Bay Bridge and Exit 6 to complete drainage installations. The night work will continue until Wednesday, August 22, 2018.

Lane closures will be utilized for traffic control through the work area. Normal nighttime work hours will be 10:00 pm to 6:00 am. Adverse weather conditions would extend the duration of this work.

This night work is part of the Spaulding Turnpike improvement project in Newington and Dover. Severino Trucking Company, Inc. of Candia, New Hampshire is the prime contractor for the $67 million project, which is scheduled to be completed in October, 2020.
