Merrimack Public Officials/Informational Meeting
Improvements To NH 101A and Craftsman Lane

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces a combined Public Officials/Public Informational meeting will be held in Merrimack for a project adding capacity and safety improvements on NH 101A from Boston Post Road to Continental Boulevard, and on Craftsman Lane at its intersection with Boston Post Road.

The NH 101A improvements will include roadway widening to add a third eastbound through lane, and widening at Continental Boulevard to modify intersection turning lanes. The Craftsman Lane improvements will reconfigure the intersection with Boston Post Road to better define traffic movements, calm traffic, and enhance the safety of all users.

This public meeting is scheduled for Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 7:00 pm, with the doors opening at 6:30 pm, in the Matthew Thornton Room at the Merrimack Town Hall, 8 Baboosic Lake Road, in Merrimack, New Hampshire.

The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project. The meeting is also to solicit public input in order to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs, community goals, and protect and enhance the environment. Accordingly, NHDOT assures that this project will be administered according to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statutes to ensure nondiscrimination.
