Night Paving on the Everett Turnpike in Manchester
Ramp and Lane Closures Required for Five Nights

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces night paving work will begin Sunday, August 12, 2018 on the F.E. Everett Turnpike in Manchester.

This work is scheduled to be done at night between the hours of 8:00 pm and 5:00 am, and will require lanes closures. Temporary ramp closures will also take place between the hours of 11:00 pm and 5:00 am. Message boards and smart work zone devices will be used to notify the travelling public. This work is expected to take five nights, however additional work days may be required due to weather conditions.

This project involves resurfacing of the F.E. Everett Turnpike, I-293 and Exit 5 and Exit 6 in Manchester, Exit 10 and Exit 11 in Merrimack and construction of an I-293 emergency access road. This project also includes the removal of highway lighting at Exit 10 and Exit 11 ramps and converting the existing lighting fixtures to LEDs.

Continental Paving, Inc., of Londonderry, New Hampshire is the contractor for the $4.6 million project, which has a final completion date of October 8, 2018.
