Night Guardrail Work on NH Route 101 in Bedford
Closure of NH 101 Eastbound Ramp to the Everett Turnpike

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces night guardrail work will begin on Sunday, August 5, 2018 on NH Route 101 eastbound and westbound in Bedford between mile markers 52.4 and 54.4 and will include closure of the NH 101 westbound ramp to the F.E. Everett Turnpike southbound on the night of Monday, August 6th.

This work is scheduled to be done between the hours of 7:00 pm and 6:00 am and will require lane and ramp closures. Message boards and smart work zone devices will be used to notify the travelling public. NH 101 will be down-posted to 45 MPH during working hours. This work is expected to continue for two weeks, however additional work days may be required due to weather conditions.

This project consists of pavement rehabilitation on NH 101/I-293, beginning at the intersection of NH 114/Boynton Street and extending easterly 2.2 miles to the ramps from the northbound F.E. Everett Turnpike. The work includes the on and off ramps to Kilton Road/US 3, on and off ramps to Meetinghouse Road/US 3, on and off ramps to US 3, and all ramps to/from the F.E. Everett Turnpike, northbound and southbound. The work also includes replacement of guardrail.

Continental Paving, Inc., of Londonderry, New Hampshire is the contractor for the $4.2 million project, which has a final completion date of September 28, 2018.
