Transformer Supermove Planned From Manchester To Deerfield
Escorted Oversize Load Will Travel 24 Mile Route At Slow Speed - Move Rescheduled to April 17, 2018

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces a planned "supermove" of a large transformer from Manchester to Deerfield is scheduled to take place during overnight and daytime hours of Monday, April 16, 2018, weather permitting.

The escorted oversize load is expected to leave the Pan Am Railroad yard on Elm Street in Manchester at 12:30 AM on April 16 and travel at slow speeds for 24 miles, arriving at an Eversource substation in Deerfield at approximately 2:00 PM. State routes being utilized for the supermove include Interstate 93, Route 27 in Hooksett, Route 43 in Candia and Deerfield, and Route 107 in Deerfield.

NH State Police and escort vehicles will accompany the large trailer carrying the transformer and will be used to control traffic. Motorists encountering the convoy along the route should expect delays.
