Bow – Concord Public Informational Meetings
Four Miles of Interstate 93 from I-89 to I-393

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation will hold two combined Public Officials/Public Informational Meetings to review and discuss the proposed widening of Interstate 93 from the I-93/I-89 interchange in Bow northerly approximately four miles to the I-93/I-393 interchange in Concord. The preferred alternative for proposed improvements will be presented at these public meetings. In addition to the I-93/I-89 interchange, this project will include interchange reconstruction/reconfiguration at Exits 12, 13, 14, and 15 on I-93, Exit 1 on I-89, and Exit 1 on I-393.

The purpose of these meetings is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project and to solicit public input in order to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs, community goals, and protect and enhance the environment. Accordingly, the NHDOT assures that this project will be administered according to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statutes to ensure nondiscrimination.

This project may have an effect on cultural or historic resources that are potentially eligible for or listed on the national register of historic places. Individuals or organizations with a demonstrated interest in the potential impacts to historic resources have an opportunity to become consulting parties under section 106 of the national historic preservation act. Additional information will be provided at the public informational meeting.
