Public Hearings Set in Concord and Manchester on Proposed Toll Increase

Executive Councilors Andru Volinsky and Christopher Pappas, along with the NH Department of Transportation (NHDOT), on behalf of the Governor's Advisory Commission on Intermodal Transportation (GACIT), announce two additional Public Hearings will be held in Concord and Manchester to review and receive public input on a toll increase proposal for the NH Turnpike System. GACIT is composed of the five NH Executive Councilors and the Commissioner of the NHDOT.

The purpose of these Hearings is to receive public comments/testimony on the toll proposal for the NH Turnpike Improvements to accelerate road and bridge work to enhance safety and reduce congestion projects in the Draft 2019-2028 Ten Year Transportation Improvement Plan. This proposal was requested by GACIT members from the NHDOT as part of the GACIT Public Hearing process.

The Concord Hearing will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 6:00 pm at the NH Department of Transportation, Room 114, 7 Hazen Drive, in Concord. The Manchester Hearing will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 7:00 pm at Manchester City Hall, Aldermanic Chambers – 3rd Floor, at 1 City Hall Plaza.
