Call For Public-Private Partnership Infrastructure Projects 2017-2018

Governor Christopher Sununu, NHDOT Commissioner Victoria Sheehan, and members of the Public-Private Partnership Infrastructure Oversight Commission announce a call for public-private infrastructure project proposals.

Public-private partnerships allow for the sharing of resources to finance, design, build, operate, and maintain transportation infrastructure projects and are especially effective when limited financial resources are available. The New Hampshire Legislature passed a law (Senate Bill 549) in 2016 establishing a Public-Private Partnership (P3) Infrastructure Oversight Commission.

The duties of the P3 Commission require the establishment of a process for the submission and evaluation of public-private partnership projects for both projects proposed by the Department of Transportation (solicited proposals) and by other entities (non-solicited proposals).

As a first step in the process, the Public-Private Partnership Infrastructure Oversight Commission is soliciting project proposals that may be suitable candidates for design-build-finance-operate-maintain or design-build-operate-maintain services. Interested applicants should submit a Letter of Interest (LOI) available on the DOT website at: .
