Ellsworth Public Informational Meeting
Improvements to Stinson Lake Road

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation will hold a Public Information Meeting in Ellsworth to discuss proposed improvements to a section of Stinson Lake Road. The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 6:30 pm at the Ellsworth Town Hall, 3 Ellsworth Pond Road in Ellsworth, New Hampshire.

This project to minimize year-round maintenance needs and erosion would involve drainage improvements, guardrail installation, and paving of the existing gravel roadway, beginning on the north side of the bridge over Sucker Brook and extending north 4,200 feet to just east of the bridge over Brown Brook.

The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project and to solicit public input in order to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs, community goals, and protect and enhance the environment. Accordingly, NHDOT assures that this project will be administered according to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statutes to ensure nondiscrimination.

This project may have an effect on cultural or historic resources that are potentially eligible for or listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Individuals or organizations with a demonstrated interest in the potential impacts to historic resources have an opportunity to become Consulting Parties under Section 106 of the National Preservation Act. Additional information will be provided at the public informational meeting.
