Road Repair Work on Route 116 in Easton, NH
Work Will Affect Traffic during the Day for One Week

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces plans to close sections of NH Route 116, in the town of Easton, during the daylight hours beginning Monday 10/2/17 through Friday 10/6/17 for road repairs. A detour will be in place to reroute traffic around the work via Bradley Hill Road and NH 112. The work involves repairs to the road at 15 different locations and reclaiming about 1000 feet of NH 116 that was damaged from the heavy rains that occurred on 7/1/17.

The prime contractor is Pike Industries and the contract amount is $1.2 million. The contract completion date for the work is November 17, 2017.
