Conway Public Informational Meeting
Future of the Conway Bypass Project

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will hold a Public Informational Meeting regarding the Conway Bypass project.

The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 7:00 pm, at the A. Crosby Kennett Middle School, 176 Main Street, in Conway, New Hampshire. An open house will begin at 6:00 pm, with a formal presentation set for 7:00 pm.

The Conway Bypass project essentially consists of three roadway components. One was to build a new North/South local road. A second component was to rebuild/upgrade existing roadways. The third component is to construct an 11-mile bypass, starting in Madison and ending in North Conway. The first two components have been completed and the status of the third, building a bypass, is in question.

This public meeting is to update people on the status of the project and to have a discussion of what to do about the bypass. The NHDOT will present information regarding the proposed project and solicit input in order to help decide how to proceed with the bypass portion of the project.

Any individuals needing assistance or auxiliary communication equipment due to sensory impairment or other disability, should contact the Bureau of Right-of-Way, NHDOT, PO Box 483, Concord, New Hampshire 03302-0483 or call 603-271-3222 – TDD Access: Relay NH 1-800-735-2964.
