Lane Closures Necessary to Complete the Project

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces paving work on Interstate 393 in Concord and Pembroke will begin on Tuesday, September 5, weather permitting.

This work will be completed in phases. It will take place during nighttime hours from North Main Street to the Merrimack River bridge. The section from the Merrimack River bridge to the end of I-393 will be a combination of daytime during off-peak hours and nighttime work.

During work hours, lane closures will be necessary on I-393 eastbound and westbound. Motorists are requested to slow down and stay alert while travelling through the work area.

Weaver Brothers Construction Company, of Bow, New Hampshire is the prime contractor of the $10.6 million road and bridge rehabilitation project, which has a final completion date of October 2017.
