Night operations on NH 101, I-93 and I-293 begin July 16th

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces pavement and bridge preservation work is scheduled to begin the night of Sunday, July 16, 2017 on sections of NH Route 101, Interstate 93, and Interstate 293 in Manchester, Auburn, and Hooksett.

This project includes resurfacing 2.1 miles on NH 101 from Manchester to Auburn, on I-93 northbound to I-293 southbound, and I-293 northbound to the I-93 southbound ramps in Hooksett. Bridge work for this project includes the rehabilitation of the I-93 northbound to I-293 southbound ramp bridge. Also included in this project are pavement markings on NH 101 from Manchester to Epping, a distance of approximately 15 miles.

This work will be performed mostly at night between the hours of 8:00 pm and 6:00 am. Motorists should expect lane shifts and lane closures during these work hours. The I-93 northbound exit to I-293 southbound ramp will be closed in August 2017 for the bridge rehabilitation.

Pike Industries, Inc. of Belmont, New Hampshire is the contractor for the $3.36 million project, which has an intermediate completion date of October 27, 2017.
