To Allow for Testing of the Fire Suppression System on June 21

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces the Cornish-Windsor Covered Bridge over the Connecticut River will have traffic restrictions on the evening of Wednesday, June 21, 2017 to allow for testing of the wooden bridge's fire suppression system.

Traffic on the bridge will be reduced to one lane on June 21 between 6:30 pm and 9:00 pm. Delays should be expected during this period and motorists should seek alternate routes. Signs will alert motorists to the bridge work and traffic stoppages.
