Traffic shifts on Interstate 93 In Northfield-Tilton
Rehabilitation of bridges over the Winnispesaukee River

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces traffic shifts will begin Monday, May 8, 2017 on I-93 in Northfield and Tilton to allow for the rehabilitation of two interstate bridges.

The project involves the rehabilitation of the “Red-Listed bridges” that carry I-93 northbound and southbound over the Winnipesaukee River, NH Railroad, and a recreation trail. To complete the work, the traffic diversion and shifts will be utilized. Motorists are advised to stay alert and drive with caution through this work zone.

Beck & Bellucci, Inc. of Franklin, New Hampshire is the prime contractor of the $8.5 million project, which has a completion date of June 2019.
