Night work on I-93 in Derry and Windham
Southbound lane closure between exits 3 and 4

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces night work associated with the construction of Interstate 93 southbound. from mile marker 7.6 to 8.6 in Windham and Derry. This area is from the Exit 3 off-ramp to the North Lowell Road bridge.

Weather permitting, construction operations will take place starting on Monday, April 10 through Tuesday, April 11, 2017. This work will consist of paving the existing southbound low speed lane shoulder.

The paving work will require southbound traffic on Interstate 93 to be reduced to one lane. It will occur during non-commuter hours, from approximately 7:00 pm to 5:00 am each night. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs.

This work is part of the $49 million I-93 widening and reconstruction project located between Exit 3 and Exit 4. The general contractor is R.S. Audley, Inc. from Bow, New Hampshire.
