Daytime Road Work on I-93 in Windham and Derry
I-93 Northbound Lane Shifts Between Exits 3 and 4

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces a roadway realignment associated with the construction of Interstate 93 between the weigh station in Windham and Exit 4 in Derry.

Weather permitting, daytime construction operations will take place on Thursday, December 1 and Friday, December 2. The anticipated work will include striping the northbound lanes into a new temporary configuration, starting ½ mile north of the Windham weigh station.

This line striping work will require traffic on I-93 northbound to be temporarily slowed, utilizing intermittent rolling roadblocks. These rolling roadblocks will take place during non-commuter hours, between approximately 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs.

This work is part of the $49 million I-93 widening and reconstruction project between Exit 3 in Windham and Exit 4 in Derry. The general contractor is R.S. Audley, Inc. from Bow, New Hampshire.
