Rehabilitation of NH Route 25 Bridge over the Connecticut River

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation will hold a combined Public Officials/Informational Meeting to discuss proposed bridge preservation/rehabilitation work on the bridge carrying NH Route 25 over the Connecticut River between Piermont, New Hampshire and Bradford, Vermont. Expansion joint work is also anticipated. This work will require a full closure of the bridge for up to 19 days, as well as six weeks of one-lane of alternating two-way traffic. The project is in the vicinity of historic properties.

This public meeting will be held as part of the regularly scheduled Piermont Selectmen's Meeting on Tuesday, November 22, 2016, at 7:00 pm at the Old Church Building, NH Route 10, in Piermont, New Hampshire.

The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project. The meeting is also to solicit public input in order to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs, community goals, and protect and enhance the environment. Accordingly, NHDOT assures that this project will be administered according to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statutes to ensure nondiscrimination.
