Traffic Pattern Change on US Route 4 in Chichester
Part of a 4.8 Mile Pavement Rehabilitation Project

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces an upcoming traffic pattern change on US Route 4 in Chichester at the intersection with King Road is scheduled to occur during the week of October 31, 2016.

This change will involve a lane reconfiguration, including dropping a left lane on US Route 4 to provide an eastbound left turn lane for King Road. The two-way left turn lane on Route 4 will be extended from east of the King road intersection to the Main Street and Horse Corner Road intersection.

This work is the part of pavement rehabilitation project that extends 4.8 miles from I-393 to the Epsom Traffic Circle. Continental Paving of Londonderry, New Hampshire is the general contractor for the $2.5 million project, which is scheduled to be completed by June 2017.
