A Total of 18 Culverts and Pipes Between Nashua and Concord

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces the beginning of drainage related construction work on the F.E. Everett Turnpike in Nashua and Merrimack, Interstate 293 in Bedford, and Interstate 93 in Hooksett, Bow, and Concord.

This project involves repairs to various outlet/inlet pipes, culvert headwalls, and the placement of stone fill for scour protection at 10 culverts and 8 slope pipes. Traffic impacts will be minimal, with some shoulder closures.

This project is part of New Hampshire's Ten year Transportation Plan under the annual Turnpike Renewal and Replacement Program. Kingsbury Construction of Waitsfield, Vermont is the general contractor for the $1.2 million project, which is scheduled for completion in June 2017.
