Lane Restrictions are anticipated on I-93 Northbound and Southbound

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces traffic impacts for night work associated with the I-93 expansion in Londonderry and Manchester. Weather permitting, striping and drainage installations will begin on September 29th and continue through October 7th . This work will take place during non-commuter hours, from 7:00 pm to 5:00 am.

Traffic on I-93 northbound and southbound between mile markers 16.0 and 19.2 will periodically be reduced to one lane in each direction. Minor traffic delays can be expected. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs.

This work is part of the $46 million I-93 widening and reconstruction project located between Exit 5 and Exit 6. Alvin J. Coleman & Son, Inc., of Conway, NH is the general contractor on this project, which has a completion date of October 25, 2019.
